In Charge

The Working with Others pillar helps learners develop the communication, awareness, and leadership skills that define how effectively they work alongside other people. Across three units  Articulate, Aware, and In Charge students learn to express themselves clearly, read professional situations with sensitivity, and step into leadership even before they hold a formal title. This pillar equips learners to navigate the human side of work with confidence, empathy, and sound judgment.

What’s Inside the In Charge Unit

This pillar prepares learners for the reality that almost nothing in professional life happens alone. Across three units, students develop the skills to communicate with clarity and purpose, pick up on the dynamics around them, and lead when the situation calls for it  whether or not it's in their job description. Through workplace scenarios, reflective exercises, and practical strategies, learners build the interpersonal toolkit that turns good individual performers into people others want to work with.

Delegation & Trust

Lesson Length: 1 Hour
See why even capable managers end up doing everything themselves  and why it isn't a trust problem, it's a barriers problem. Sort real ward scenarios to find out what delegation actually is and what it isn't. Meet the six barriers that stop people handing work over well  and recognize the ones that are already yours. Then run a hospital shift, watch your plan meet the real world, and find out exactly what your choices cost  and what they earned.

Leading Without a Title

Lesson Length: 1 Hour
Discover why the most influential person in the room is rarely the one with the biggest title. Pick a leader you admire, find out what actually makes them effective, and then use a three-question test to uncover leadership moments from your own life. Turn what you find into a CV entry  and a LinkedIn post that real professionals can read and respond to.

Making the Call

Lesson Length: 1 Hour
Every decision you make at work lands somewhere you can't always see. A mechanic bends a rule to survive. A brand-new manager finds out. A CEO is watching a much bigger problem unfold upstairs. Three people. Three decisions. One week. Step inside each position and decide what you would do  then watch the consequences collide.
